Washington offers Moscow to launch a joint air operation.
The United States sent to the Russian Federation “last offer” to resolve the Syrian conflict, reports the American newspaper Washington Post, citing sources in the Obama administration.
According to sources, the message the Washington put Russia almost an ultimatum. In the United States say that their patience in trying to conclude an agreement comes to an end.
According to WP, the American plan includes several points. Chief among them is achieving a complete ceasefire in Syria. Washington also proposes to discontinue all flights of the Syrian aviation and start a joint air operation of Russia and the USA against terrorists.
It does not specify what will happen if and these proposals will fail to reach an agreement.
“U.S. officials made clear that they don’t see the point in yet another negotiation session, if Russia will not change its position”, – notes the edition, commenting on the position of the state Department.
