The billionaire chose the wrong idol.
President Barack Obama said that the candidate on his post, Donald trump took his example to follow of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a policy which condemns the whole world. He stated this during his speech in support of another presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
According to him, trump chose to follow the person whose policy is accused of violating human rights, ignoring international law and silencing the opinions of dissenters, as well as the outbreak of war.
“He (tramp – ed.) likes this guy (Putin – ed.)”, – Obama said.
He also recalled that refers to Putin only in a business-like manner without any personal sympathy.
“I have business to conduct with Putin. Am I supposed to deal with Russia. It’s part of foreign policy. But I don’t go around saying that this is my role model. Can you imagine Ronald Reagan idolized someone like him, ” Obama said.
Also, the President of the United States recalled that the party of trump traded the democratic principles on “love” to Russia.
“Think about what is happening with the Republican party. Previously, she acted against Russia and authoritarianism and fought for freedom and democracy. Now their candidate praises the guy, saying that he is a strong leader because he invades a smaller state, jailing his opponents, controlling the press and the economy in a recession,” Obama said.
