Hollywood actor Nicolas cage star of such films as “national Treasure,” “family Man”, “Without a face”, “City of angels” and many others will arrive in the Russian capital to personally present a new film with his participation – “Cruiser”. The story of this war drama tells the events that occurred during the Second world war. In the summer of 1945 the cruiser USS Indianapolis went to the island of Tinian, which was an American military base. The mission of crew is to deliver to the Isle of the warhead of a nuclear bomb.

On the return journey the cruiser was torpedoed by the Japanese, but despite the signal “SOS!”, which had been sent by captain Muqueem, no one came to help. The ship along with the crew went to the bottom. The survivors had to face even more severe challenges: the scorching sun, the lack of fresh water, hallucinations (as consequence of dehydration), madness and the teeth of blood-thirsty sharks…

On Tuesday 20 Sep Nicolas cage will visit Moscow in the Premier events of the film “Cruiser”.
