The oldest hotel in Russia that can stop the tourists, is recognized as St. Petersburg Happy Pushkin is located in the mansion Potemkin 1730 buildings. This was reported in the press release, tourist service OneTwoTrip received by the editors “ru” on Wednesday, April 6.

After the revolution of 1917 the hotel was closed. The hotel “Happy Pushkin” with 46 rooms only appeared here in 2007.
The oldest in Moscow was recognized as the hotel Bentley, located in a mansion of the XIX century in the village of Pokrovka. The hotel was opened here after the revolution. Primarily it was intended for civil servants, it also housed popular among Muscovites delicatessen. Modern Bentley is in force since 2010.
Third on the list of most of the old hotels became a four star “Magistrate” in Tomsk. It is located in a building built in 1802. At various times it housed the Magistrates of the Siberian province, municipal burgher Council, and after the revolution — the regional Prosecutor’s office.
In addition, the list included “Old Lavra” hotel in Sergiyev Posad (built in 1822), the hotel Sergievskaya in Nizhny Novgorod (1837 buildings), the hotel “Volgograd” (1890), the hotel Parus in Khabarovsk (1899) and Kaliningrad “the Seagull” — the young hotel list, built in 1908.
In February it was reported that the oldest peace hotel Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan is located in the Japanese Prefecture of Yamanashi. It was opened in 705 Fujiwara Mahito, now they run for the 52nd generation of Fujiwara.
