“Nagorno Karabakh will never get independence, in the historical lands of Azerbaijan will never be a second Armenian state. This is the main issue. As for the status of Nagorno-Karabakh, it is a question of the future. Of course, a certain status can be granted,” he said.
In particular, he referred to the presence in the composition of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, noting that such status should not violate the territorial integrity of the country.
