British tennis player Andy Murray for the 13th time in his career became the winner of tournament of series ATP 1000.
For his third title in Shanghai, Murray competed with the 19-th racket of the world of Roberto Bautista-Agut, who in the semi-final sensationally defeated the strongest tennis player of the world Novak Djokovic.
The Spaniard in the first set gave a serious fight to the favourite – with the score 4:5 Bautista-Agut on the pitch Murray played three set-balls and extended the course of the party. In the tie-break of the Spaniard is not enough – Murray has won seven goals in a row and took the lead.
The second batch lasted only 32 minutes – Bautista-Agut has never defended his serve, but Murray did not allow myself relaxed and confidently brought the match to the bitter end.
Due to the success in Shanghai Murray has chances to debut, getting to the top of the ATP ranking. To become the first racket of the world, the British need to win the tournament in Vienna and become the champion of the Paris masters.
The title in Shanghai was for Andy Murray 41st in his career and sixth of the season, including Wimbledon and the Olympics.
