In the Ukrainian Parliament not three hundred votes for the adoption of amendments to the Constitution on “special status” for Donbass. What would it not say in the AP and the Cabinet, the deputies did not support the introduction of a special self-government in the Eastern region.

Matkiwsky recalled that policy in recent times less and less remember that Kiev has pledged to provide the Donbass “special status”. In the Parliament simply does not have the votes to pass appropriate amendments in the Constitution of the country.
According to Matkiwsky, this has not happened “suddenly.” Back in August, it was clear that appropriate changes in the Constitution will not be supported by the Parliament.
“This was discussed, reported and asked to divide the decentralization and allowing local government”, — concluded Matkiwsky.
We will remind, earlier the Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that the Minsk agreement spelled out clearly the steps that must be completed by Ukrainian authorities. Of course, in his opinion, the first step is the issue of security and cessation of hostilities, but this should not be a hindrance in the implementation of the remaining clauses, in particular the elections on the territories of DPR and LPR, as well as providing the region with a special status.
