Among the huge number of various world landmarks occupy a special place in unusual stairs. They are in different parts of the world and always attract the attention of tourists. Some are ancient artifacts, others created by modern architects and designers. But those and others have become real landmarks of cities in which they are located.
1. Stairs in Montreal

The lack of space in Montreal forced the architects to build a similar three-storey houses with winding exterior staircases. They’re adorable, but obviously not very reliable.
2. The staircase in QUINTA da regaleira
Portugal
The steps in the Palace and Park complex QUINTA da regaleira in Sintra, Portugal, spiral go into the bowels of the earth. Although this place is called “the Well of initiation”, it has never been used for water collection. These mysterious underground towers were used for secret ceremonies of initiation.
3. Stairs on a hill in Los Angeles
