The Bank of Russia revoked the license of the Moscow Arksbank, said in a statement the regulator. In the activities of the credit institution revealed violations of Federal laws and normative acts of the Central Bank and the Bank was repeatedly disciplined. According to the regulator, the situation in a financial institution created real threat to interests of creditors and depositors.
Activities Arksbank focused on attracting funds of the population and their location in the assets the poor quality. Thus the credit organisation did not create loan-loss provisions adequate to risks assumed. Despite the Supervisory authority introduced restrictions on attraction of funds of physical persons, the Bank continued to pursue an aggressive policy of attracting deposits. In the circumstances, the Bank of Russia made the decision on the withdrawal of Arksbank from the market of banking services.
The Bank appointed a temporary administration until the appointment of a bankruptcy Trustee or liquidator. The powers of the Executive bodies of the credit institution in accordance with the Federal laws are suspended.
Arksbank — the participant of system of insurance of contributions. Revocation of license is insured, which provides for the payment of insurance compensation to depositors in the amount of 100 percent of the balance, but not more than 1,4 million rubles per depositor.
According to statements of the Central Bank, by total assets Arksbank of July 1, 2016 is ranked 286th place in the Russian banking system.
