The leaders of LNR and DNR have confirmed their readiness to hold a meeting with the Ukrainian delegation headed by Nadezhda Savchenko.
“We are not against direct negotiations with the Ukrainian authorities. If Savchenko wants to talk, we are ready to meet with her on specific issues. Especially that one of the points of the Minsk agreement was a direct dialogue between the Kiev leadership from the DNI and the LC, — told ex-the Minister of foreign Affairs DND Alexander Kofman.
MP BP has offered Kiev to go to direct talks with representatives of the DNR and LNR out of the Minsk process, including for the release of prisoners. She said it was ready to personally lead the dialogue. Savchenko also said that he supports Amnesty for the militia of Donbass. Chapter LNR Igor Carpenter responded to that statement by saying that the conversation with Savchenko can produce results only if it succeeds to create a team in the Ukrainian Parliament.
