Ilkay Gundogan will continue his career in the English Premier League.
According to the official website of Manchester city, 25-year-old German midfielder signed with the club a four-year contract. For Gundogan “Citizens” paid 26 million euros. In the future, the transaction amount could grow by another three million.
“I am delighted with what has passed in “Manchester city”. As soon as I heard about their interest, just wanted to play for this club. I really want to work with the head coach, Josep Guardiola. I’m flattered that I was the first transfer to the “city” this summer,” says the newcomer, “Manchester city”.
Earlier interest in Gundogan attributed Juventus, PSG, AC Milan, Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern, but the midfielder Dortmund “Borussia” has signed with club the new contract, and now for a large sum left for England.
Gundogan played in Borussia since 2011. German in Dortmund once won the championship, the Cup and the Supercup of Germany, and also in the 2012-2013 season were scored in the Champions League final.
