This train is the epitome of history.
The Rotterdam photographer Brian captures a vanishing piece of history, namely The Grand Orient Express. This train class “luxury” company Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits went on its inaugural journey in 1883.
In the world there are only a few of these parlays, shown in these photos train in 2009 rests on the tracks in Belgium.
The photographer shared his impressions: “it Seemed like I was in a time machine. I’m trying to feel the emotions of the past, just want them to reflect in their photos. If people look at my work and start wondering “what? why? when?” so it worked for me”.
