The Germany midfielder Toni Kroos has signed a new contract with real Madrid.
Official website of the Spanish club confirmed an agreement with Kroos, the new contract which lasts until 30 June 2022.
The agent of Kroos has almost a twofold increase in salary for his client. If under the old contract, a graduate of the “Bavaria” earned 10.9 million euros, but now his annual salary will be 20 million in the European currency.
According to “Bild”, Kroos will become the highest paid player in the history of German football. Previously the leadership was held by Thomas Muller, which “Bavaria” pays annually for 15 million euros.
Kroos moved to real Madrid in 2014-m year for the newly minted world champion Madrid have paid around € 25 million. The three incomplete seasons at Real Madrid, the German once won the Champions League, club world Cup and the UEFA super Cup.
In the “real” Kroos all tournaments played 108 matches in the asset midfielder with four goals and 31 assists.
