The midfielder of Shakhtar and Ukraine national team Viktor Kovalenko noted the authoritative British magazine “FourFourTwo”.
British journalists put Kovalenko on the 24-th line in the rating of the best young players in the world – the graduate of Shakhtar impressed the experts for its versatility and focus on the goal.
“It works well with the ball, has vision, good physically and technically. Such qualities make the 20-year-old versatile player – he can play any position on the flank, in midfield or as a playmaker.
Kovalenko also good as a scorer – he’s the best scorer of the world Cup U-20 in New Zealand, in the course of 2016, he scored seven goals in Shakhtar and scored four times in European competition.
No wonder Kovalenko was included in the national team of Ukraine in Euro 2016 and, despite the failure of his team, made a positive impression. To
