Russian arms concern “Kalashnikov” filed a lawsuit in the arbitration court of the Udmurt Republic to a French company Cybergun S. A., reports on Tuesday, July 19, Rambler News Service. The plaintiff demands to recognize the illegal right to use the symbols of the Kalashnikov and Kalashnikov.

In the production line of Cybergun S. A. there are replicas of machines produced by the group.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 15 this year. According to the Agency, the court warned the French company that failure to submit the revocation in due time she will have to pay court costs regardless of the outcome of the case.

In July 2016, “Kalashnikov” has opened in Georgia’s first brand zone for sale civilian weapons. In the next five years the company intends to increase shipments to this country, where the company was not present last 10 years.

“Kalashnikov” was created in August 2013 on the basis of NPO “Izhmash”, which was in dire financial Straits. The group produces machines “Kalashnikov”, hunting and civil weapon under the brand name “Baikal” and sports “Izhmash”. In recent years the group has improved financial performance. In 2014, its revenues amounted to 2.9 billion roubles (a net loss of 340 million rubles, in 2015-m — 8,2 billion rubles (net profit of 2.1 billion) in 2016, the leadership of the “Kalashnikov” expects revenue growth to 18 billion.
