In Lutsk the people’s deputies Nikolay Velickovic and Igor Lapin expressed the request to promote in local school returned to the small-bore rifle. This during a meeting with MPs on April 16 in the sports club “Olympia” was sounded by the head of Committee of physical culture and sports Lutsk city Council Yuriy Volynets.

According to him, when schools do not have weapons, this process cannot be carried out normally.

“We have in schools 19 the galleries, but, unfortunately, at the legislative level there is a certain conflict. The Ministry of the interior has taken from schools small-bore weapons that were purchased with funds of the Department of education. This is motivated by the fact that must be equipped with shooting ranges. Although I don’t understand why can be equipped with chemical or physical classrooms, and offices where storing weapons, not allowed. I ask you to help at the level of the Ministry of internal Affairs and the Ministry of education to resolve this issue. This would give an effective impetus to the extracurricular activities of fire training,” he voiced his request Yuri Volynets.

He also added that now the Kalashnikovs that the schools handed over to the military, there are 6-7 thousand UAH.

In addition, Yuri Volynets asked deputies to help the legalization of sports philanthropy. In his opinion, it is necessary to adopt a law that would legalise sponsorship investment in the sport.

“There are many people who are willing to invest in the sport some money, but in doing so, we these people Purim, and then the fiscal services come with the checks on them, require certain reports and the like. So this is in some way a little off-putting sponsors. Need something to do,” he argued.

Official supported and was present at the meeting, the Chairman of the Center for military-Patriotic education “Volyn Sich” Sergey Drazenovic. According to him, the sponsors who help the organization, asking not to advertise their support through this conflict in the legislation. Therefore, such a law will stimulate investment in the sport and to save budgetary funds.
