The security Council of Russia has proposed to the government the project of transport-logistic corridors “United Eurasia”, which will link the Siberia, the far East and the Arctic. According to “Kommersant”, the most important role the plan will play airships.
The project will link the European Union and the Asia-Pacific region. It is expected that the work will involve Americans and Europeans, who for the sake of realization of transport-logistics corridors will remove the sanctions.
The project cost is estimated at $220-240 billion for Its main purpose – creation of conditions for the country’s transition to a new socio-economic level, due to the deep development of Siberia, the Far East and the Arctic”, which is based on the proposal of academician of the “United Eurasia” Alexander Alexander Nekipelov.
The text describes only the transport airship “Atlant”, the developer of which is called “Aeronautic center “augur”. According to one, 62.5% of its shares are owned by the head of the Russian aeronautical society Stanislav Fedorov, on the other – the ownership structure of partially looped and includes Cypriot “Everfar Management limited”.
It is the airships should provide, according to the authors of the project, the traffic between the Northern sea route and TRANS-Siberian. According to them, a blimp with a cost of $30 million to replace five Mi-8 helicopters, which are now used in the far North.
The President of the company “lokomoskay” Cyril Lets, when using airships priority is to deliver heavy cargo to remote areas, not speed.
It should be noted that although the use of airships and other aircraft lighter than air for commercial purposes dream since their invention, yet nobody managed to implement such an idea with a positive financial effect.
