The export duty on grain will be cleared Friday, said the head of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia Alexander Tkachev.
“I want to speak, to inform all villagers and not just traders in the market that from tomorrow (23rd September) is reset to zero export duty” – his words TASS.

Russia to stabilize the situation on the domestic grain market from 1 February 2015 introduced export duty on wheat. Her formula was changed several times. The current fee is valid from 1 October last year and is 50% of the customs value minus 6,5 thousand rubles per ton, but not less than 10 rubles per ton. Market participants and companies-exporters have repeatedly called for the abolition of the duty.
