In the space of The Steven Kasher Gallery (new York) opened an exhibition of portraits of the American actress Marilyn Monroe. The exhibition presents the work of photographer Andre de Dienes, one of the first lovers of Norma Jean Baker.
It should be noted that this is the first solo exhibition of Andre de Dienes over the last ten years, with the participation of more than fifty photographs of a young woman (on vacation in the game), which soon became Marilyn Monroe. In 1945 Andre de Dienes was the first professional photographer, photographed a model named Norma Jean Baker. A passionate admirer of her talent, de Dienes worked with Monroe as the model, privately in 1945, 1946, 1949 and 1953.
