In the centre of Warsaw March 18, street photo exhibition “Dedicated to the Crimean spring”, according to “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”. The event is timed to the second anniversary of joining the Peninsula to Russia.

The rally was held near the metro station “Centrum”. It was attended by Polish politicians and public figures: the leader of the “Change” Mateusz Piskorski, Chairman of the Party of regions of Poland Boleslav Borisyuk, Director General of the organization “Restitution Borderlands” Tomasz Jankowski, member of the Board of the Military historical society of Poland Maciej poręba.

“To my countrymen is the ability to imagine what was happening in Crimea and how this reunion happy people”, — commented on the content of the exhibition Mateusz Piskorski. Politician headed the delegation of international observers at Crimean referendum 2014.

Piskorski expressed the view that the annexation of Crimea — “this is a historic choice of the people”. “I personally saw the enthusiasm of the Crimeans”, — he stressed. During the event, politicians and public figures talked about his impressions after visiting the Peninsula in 2015, and spectators were treated Crimean tea.

A photo exhibition organized by the Polish party of “Change”. Political organization advocated friendly relations between Warsaw and Moscow, as well as for a strategic Alliance between Russia and the European Union, clarifies the issue.

March 16, 2014 in Crimea held a referendum in which 96 percent of voters voted for joining the Peninsula to Russia. 18 March of the same year the authorities of the Republic signed with Moscow the contract on accession of the Republic of the Crimea and city of Sevastopol into the country as new entities. This day is officially recognized as the Day of the reunification of Crimea and Russia and declared the Peninsula on the weekends.
