Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the establishment of sports medicine Centre in Sochi, said on Tuesday the website of the Russian government.

“The planned creation of a single complex of buildings, which provides hospital, rehabilitation clinic with the outpatient Department. The total cost of creating Center is 6.6 billion rubles. Including attracted funds of the investor – 4.4 billion rubles, co-financing of facility equipment equipment – 2.2 billion rubles at the expense of allocations from the Federal budget”, – stated in the message.

It notes that a signed approved the procedure for concluding concession agreement in respect of healthcare facilities “the Center for sports medicine in the city of Sochi”.

Provided that a tender for a concession agreement in respect of the Centre is open, the concession agreement is concluded in the manner prescribed in the tender documentation. The powers of the grantor in the tender, at the closing and the execution, modification and termination of the concession agreement assigned to FMBA of Russia.

Set the main terms of the concession agreements, the criteria and parameters criteria of the competitive selection for the right to conclude a concession agreement.

“The main condition of the concession agreement is to create an object as a single innovation center, specializing in sports medicine, primarily in the treatment of sports injuries”, – underline the Russian government.

For the provision of medical care to the athletes of national teams in the period from 2020 to 2036 years for the operation of the FMBA of Russia of budget allocations in the framework of the state assignment, the report says.
