At a railway crossing near the town of Dunajska Streda in South-West Slovakia passenger train Czech company RegioJet collided with a truck: as a result of accident injuries of varying severity received all 35 passengers and two occupants of the cab of the truck.
According to doctors, the accident, some passengers of the train sustained a concussion and fractures of the extremities. In a very serious condition sent to the hospital, the train driver, who received multiple wounds.
The driver of the truck for yet unknown reasons drove into the crossing on the railway track in front of the passing train. On a scene caused four cars of “Ambulance” and two helicopters of the Slovak medical service, — told reporters the representative of the local police Maria Lintsova.
According to her, verification of the driver of the truck, also owned by one of the Czech companies, not confirmed presence in its blood of alcohol or drugs. The move is equipped with the necessary light and sound alarm.
