In accordance with the approved level of the Russian Government plan for commissioning of new nuclear reactors in our country will be in the years 2016 to 2030 is built “from scratch” 11 new reactors and completed at least 6 already started earlier.
Pretty pragmatic and very real commissioning plan 11 new nuclear reactors includes the following objects:
– 7 nuclear reactors of the new VVER-TOI with the capacity of 1300 MW each (2 on the new Smolensk NPP-2, Nizhny Novgorod, one on nuclear, one on the main plant and one in Tatar NPP).
– 1 medium nuclear reactor VVER-600 to new Kola NPP-2.
– 2 new reactor bn-1200 fast neutron earn at Beloyarsk and South Urals plants.
– 1 latest fast reactor and lead-cooled BREST-OD-300 in Tomsk.
In addition to these facilities will be completed/launched previously launched units at Rostov NPP, Novovoronezh NPP, Leningrad NPP-2, the first two blocks of the Kursk NPP-2 and the world’s first floating nuclear power station “Academician Lomonosov”.
