In Rio de Janeiro at the maracanã stadium in the evening of 18 September was held the closing ceremony of para-Olympic games.

Next, the XVI Paralympic games in four years will take Japan. The flag of the Paralympic games were awarded to the mayor of Tokyo Yuriko Coic.
The ceremony participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the Iranian cyclist Bachmann of Galbarriatu, who died on the last day of the competition.
In the unofficial medal standings in first place is China (107, 81, 51), followed by UK (64, 39, 44) and Ukraine (41, 37, 39).
