In Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan destroyed the Armenian tank crew.
Repulsing the attack of Armenian servicemen on the frontline was destroyed a tank with the crew. This was stated by the Ministry of defense of Azerbaijan.
The defense Ministry said that Armenian servicemen from the evening of April 23, fired at Azerbaijani villages in the Terter district. “The attacks were carried out with heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, mortars and artillery”, – noted in the defense Ministry of Azerbaijan. It was also reported that the Armenian soldiers among other things “fired at positions of Azerbaijani army from 122-mm howitzer D-30,” the newspaper writes.
“At the same time at night on April 24, the Azerbaijani positions started firing at Armenian tanks. With additional manpower, the Armenian side tried to go on the attack. However, the attack was repulsed. The reflection of the offensive had destroyed one enemy tank with the crew”, – said the representative of the defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.
Meanwhile, the defense Ministry of Nagorno-Karabakh have accused Azerbaijan of violation of the regime of silence. There said that the soldiers fired at Azerbaijani military positions along the line of contact. In particular, the defense Ministry calls Nagorno-Karabakh border village Matagis.
