Three accomplices convicted in Moscow for extortion from commercial Bank 300 million rubles under the threat of disclosure of Bank secrecy.
As have informed “Rosbaltu” in the press service of the Metropolitan Prosecutor’s office, the Basmanny court issued a guilty verdict in the criminal case against 37-year-old resident of Surgut Alexander Solntsev, 29-the summer inhabitant of Tyumen, of Olga Beloborodova and 33-the summer inhabitant of the Smolensk region Yegor Yuldashev.
The investigation established that Beloborodov, who worked as a chief specialist in the commercial Bank in Tyumen, copied the information on the accounts of one of the companies — clients of the Bank. This information she passed Solntsev, which was to blackmail her Bank representative.
In the period from April to July 2015 Solntsev and Yuldashev under fictitious names repeatedly put forward by the representative of the Bank requirements to transfer to the 300 million rubles, threatening in case of refusal to disseminate information to the media.
The court sentenced Yuldashev and Solntseva to 8 years of imprisonment each with serving punishment in a correctional colony of strict regime, Beloborodov — to four years of imprisonment with punishment serving in a corrective colony of General regime.
