The court in Aktobe, Kazakhstan is considering a criminal case against a citizen of Kazakhstan for participation in combat actions on the territory of Donetsk region. About it reported in a press-service of regional court.
Kazakh citizen charged that from September 2014 to February 2015, in the territory of Donetsk region of Ukraine, without authority from the state bodies of Kazakhstan unlawfully participated in hostilities in the Donbass in the composition of quick response team against are in the region of the armed forces of Ukraine, and also participated in the fighting with weapons, as expressed in the defense of the settlements of the self-proclaimed “Donetsk people’s Republic,” combat duty for the protection of objects of the military unit located in the building of the hotel “Optima” and performed other errands.
“In February 2015, the man returned to the territory of Kazakhstan for the purposes of resolving personal domestic issues. The twenty-fourth of February in the course of the employees of the Department of KNB of Kazakhstan (Committee of national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan – ed.) in the Aktobe region the investigative activities of his criminal activity was prevented,” – said the press service.
The court noted that the case goes to trial.
