Japanese architect built for two retired unique residential complex.
Architect Issei Suma is known for its unusual projects, but this building, from the outside looks like five tents, draws attention to the fluidity of its forms and design, which perfectly combines minimalism with eco-style.
Customers of the project were two retired women who organized the food delivery service pensioners. In this room they live, work, and the company they are a social worker and cook. The building also has a pool in the shape of a spiral.
Complex of small buildings with an area of 100 square meters, called “Dikka”, located in a mountain area of Shizuoka Prefecture. All the buildings are connected to each other by arched passages.
Houses made of concrete, and the outside is covered with wooden panels. In the Central building are located the kitchen and West wing bedrooms of hosts, and in the East guest room and pool.
