Probable member of the terrorist organization ISIS detained on Tuesday in the German city of Mutterstadt.
The German police arrested in the German city of Mutterstadt (Rhineland-Palatinate) a man suspected of having links with terrorist group ISIL (ISIS, is prohibited in Russia), said on Tuesday the German radio station “Deutsche Welle”.
“We had information about the possible preparation of an attack to the beginning of the football Championships – Bundesliga”, – told reporters the representative of the interior Ministry of Rhineland-Palatinate. The details of a planned attack are not reported.
Nevertheless, the Ministry said that information about the planned attack provided the police of the city of Duisburg (North Rhine-Westphalia).
In turn, the interior Minister of Rhineland-Palatinate, Roger Lewentz appreciated the results of joint work of law enforcement bodies of the two lands, calling them “absolutely smooth interaction”.
