According to a source in the main Islamist grouping “Army of conquest” (“Jaish al-Fatah), for the offensive involved about ten thousand men, 95 tanks, and several hundreds of cars with rocket launchers. Their attack, they have already called the “big epic battle for Aleppo”. In addition, they produced dozens of suicide bombers for the explosions of army roadblocks.

Insurgents detonated at least one bomb in the tunnel under the positions of Pro-government forces on the southern outskirts of Aleppo.

Due to the shelling of the South-Western districts of Aleppo, Syria, where fighting between forces of President Bashar al-Assad and rebels over the past day killed at least 30 civilians in the town.

At the same time, there have been reports about the use of Syria’s poisonous gas – representatives of the “Syrian civil defense” told Reuters that the city of Sarakeb, which shot down a Russian helicopter with air dropped containers of toxin. The use of gas was confirmed in the Center. Later the US State Department said that in case of confirmation of the gas attack, the consequences will be very serious.

Recall that 12 people were killed in result of Russian air raids in the North of Syria a few hours after Moscow said about the Downing of his helicopter.
