Chechen authorities are ready to comply with all recommendations of the Ministry of sports of Russia on carrying out of tournaments in the country. This was stated by the Chechen Minister for physical culture and sport Khasmagomed hizriyev, RIA Novosti reported on Wednesday, October 19.

“We expect a letter to the President [Ramzan Kadyrov] and my name with recommendations regarding the conduct of tournaments and competitions we have in Chechnya. I want to note that all the recommendations of the Ministry of sports of Russia we will be met,” said Hizriev.

On Tuesday, the Agency held a meeting of the working group that considered the question of holding a tournament on professional fights MMA Grand-Prix Akhmat 2016 Final. The participation of children aged 8-10 years was recognized as a violation of the rules. In addition, the Ministry demanded to agree on carrying out of competitions on the territory of Chechnya. The meeting was held in the absence of the President of the Union of MMA (mixed martial arts) of Russia Fedor Emelyanenko.

October 4 in Grozny took place the tournament “Grand-Prix” Akhmat 2016. The initiative comprised eight fights under MMA rules and three fights with the participation of the sons of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov (10, 9 and 8 years old), is stated as indicative. Children of the head of the Republic won, and the eldest child of Ahmad won by Ko in 14 seconds.

After fighting broke out conflict between Emelianenko, condemned the conduct of the fighting, and several Chechen politicians and officials who harshly criticized the 40-year-old soldier in social networks.
