Shopping centre in the Belgian town Shuttle was evacuated on Saturday after an unknown man opened fire from a Kalashnikov in the shop.
About it reports Reuters, citing Belgian media. “Shots were fired from a Kalashnikov,” said mayor Daniel Vanderlick.
Reportedly, the attackers broke into the store on Saturday morning with the apparent attempt to steal jewelry. None of the visitors to the store were not injured. Police evacuated all visitors.
The exact number of attackers remains unknown. According to Commissioner of police, several militants were inside the store. Local newspaper La Gazette reports, citing unnamed sources, that the attackers were three. Police are not linking this incident with Islamist militants.Go to the Main page
