In cloth bags to send NASA cargo to the International space station (ISS) discovered black mold. In this regard, the launch of two ships companies SpaceX and Orbital ATK postponed at least for two weeks.
As reported RIA Novosti, now the space Agency and the U.S. aircraft company Lockheed Martin are investigating the causes of mold. According to the representative of NASA, Cygnus truck company Orbital ATK was more than half loaded for the launch, originally scheduled for March 10.
Now the goods will be unpacked and the bags are disinfected. In NASA noted that if the bags with mold arrived at the station, the astronauts working there wouldn’t have been threatened.
