Anti-terrorist center of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs about the introduction of a critical level of terrorist threat.
During the shooting in Almaty, unknown persons attacked the building of the Department of national security Committee of Kazakhstan. This is stated in the press service of KNB of Kazakhstan.
“Anti-terrorist center of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs about the introduction of critical (“red”) level of terrorist threat in the territory of Almaty. The reason was the attack by unknown assailants on the building of the Almalinsky police Department and the Department of CBN,” the statement reads.
Earlier it was reported that police arrested one of the attackers on the building of the Almalinsky police Department. According to the eyewitness, the victims of the shooting were three people, two of them police officers, one civilian.
