At least seven people were injured in an attack on a convoy of tourists in the West of Afghanistan.
12 tourists eight Britons, three Americans and one German – were sent under military escort to Herat, when they were fired from ambush.
It is reported that the militants were armed, including improvised explosive devices.
As a result, injured six tourists and the driver of the van, they are in Italian military hospital in Herat. Soon after they were evacuated to Kabul.
Responsibility for attack was assumed by group “Taliban”.
