Twenty-six people were killed in a road accident involving a tourist bus in Taiwan.
According to the tourism Bureau, the bus was carrying tourists from the Chinese province of Liaoning.
The incident occurred at about 13.00 local time. Bus moving in the direction of the airport, crashed into a guardrail and caught fire.
According to China Central television (CCTV), after about 20 minutes the fire on the bus was extinguished. It is reported that the bus driver survived.
While Taiwanese media reported that the bus had 16 tourists-women, eight male tourists, the driver and guide, did not survive to any of them. It is noted that the tour group arrived on the island on July 12 and planned to leave on Tuesday.
The cause of the incident is unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
