Here everything is made for people.
While I was in Los Angeles, drove into the area, “Playa Vista”. This is one of the six U.S. districts that participated in the launch of the program “Partnership for the development of technology in housing”. The essence of the program is to build a district, the maximum using modern technology. It turns out that the house in “Playa Vista” the most secure, comfortable, environmentally friendly, energy efficient and technically equipped in all of America.
“Playa Vista” is not just a residential district, it also includes office buildings and headquarters of many famous companies. For example, two years ago Google bought in the area of 12 acres of land and rented a giant hangar where Howard Hughes collected their planes (about Hughes’s film “the Aviator” with Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role). Although Google is not particularly spread about his plans, it’s clear to everyone that in a former hangar will be a new and the coolest office of the company. Plans for the construction of a new office confirms that next to the hangar Google has started to build housing for their employees.
Let’s walk through the new area. Note the number of storeys — 5 floors! Perfect!
