Yesterday ended Congress of “United Russia”. Well, what can I say? Very much tongue-in-cheek chic with a very serious domestic unrest. In fact, the “United Russia” (or rather “her Kremlin puppeteers” because this party is completely dead) has consistently wasted all of his original intentions.
That is, first “party of power”, apparently seriously wanted to act in these elections, “solid” and “European”, to portray itself as a kind of downright Political Force. For this, it was stated that:
1. The party will hold open and fair primaries;

That is, “ER” has declared that is ready to participate in the elections “almost honest”, almost equal to the democratic struggle.
And what is the result? From all these it is officially proclaimed restrictions “ER” itself slowly released. In fact, we have:
1. “Open and honest” primaries ended in a resounding failure. First, nothing like the originally stated plan “to ensure voter turnout of 10%” was not possible – the real turnout was on the strength of three times less. In General, “ER” seems to be in a mild panic. And the first thing that threatens future elections – a record of extremely low turnout. People in Russia finally seems to have ceased to understand what the Council and what the hell it is he needs.
