We started our Ecuador here. To get to baños we had to spend on buses more than 40 hours,
Why?
There is just one active volcano. The volcanoes in Ecuador – a usual thing. Authorities often evacuating entire villages before the eruption, and to know when to evacuate – build near dormant volcanoes observation posts. In baños observation post built in a tree nearby mountains. Vidocq, of course, opened from there just “Whoa”.

Baños after the swing is completely different. Around the city run buggy for rent. Beautiful trail through the woods goes straight to the volcano. With breathtaking waterfalls depart the building using zip lines. Sami falls at night light up like in the Lord of the rings. Rafting, mountain Biking, conquering the jungle, bungee jumping, paragliding – that’s one extreme swing gave birth to a Latin American Mecca of extreme sports.
