Greedy European business once again “discovered” Russia

Жадный европейский бизнес вновь "открыл" для себя Россию

A series of paid rating agencies and their assessments of the Russian economy is no longer able to hold back common sense.

It is clear from the beginning that “junk” rating for Russia is a low estimate. Besides, Western companies are even in the new economic condition of Russia, seeking their own benefit.

Austrian investors first decided to return to Russia, finding that it now has created extremely favorable conditions for investment.

According to a recent report by the Federal chamber of economy Austria (which includes real data, not “junk” rating the rating agencies), over the past year has shown a steady trend, Austrian companies are increasingly seeking to localize and plan the opening of new branches in Russia.

It is not difficult to explain such a lack of investors. Many simply forget or do not consciously consider the pros of such an economic situation which, for the most part, has changed with the national currency.

Favourable exchange rate helps to reduce labor costs, land plots and objects to foreign investors doubled. Thanks to cheap ruble reduced the cost of exporting goods produced in Russia.

This, of course, not all the possibilities that are opened with the frankly undervalued currency. The policy of import substitution encourages Western companies to look for ways to produce goods marked “Made in Russia”, which, in principle, good and us and them.

Yes, the main part of the profit leaves the country, but don’t be foreign companies trying to produce goods in Russia, would have gone jobs, at least…

Of course, for such changes and the active entry of investors need time, but the process is going in the right direction, spit on all “caution,” the Western rating agencies.
