NASA has posted more than a thousand new images of Mars that were taken by the camera HiRISE, installed on space vehicle Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter in orbit around the red planet for as much as ten years.
Due to the high camera resolution, the images allow scientists to study the planet’s surface in tens of centimeters. It should be noted that not all the pictures are originals. Some of them are only part of a larger photos and some are painted with the help of graphic editors. Sure, you’ll be able to determine where the original images where processed in color.
