He believes that the Europeans should be seen the resilient Peninsula
French MP Thierry Mariani, who now resides with a delegation of his colleagues in the Crimea, urged European politicians to visit Crimea to see “cheerful”Peninsula”.
While Mariani expressed regret that the parade in Sevastopol was foreign journalists who could see the “not occupied and cheerful country.”
“The main thing we say in return: “Go yourself and see with your own eyes,” said Mariani.
The politician reminded that after the first visit of French parliamentarians, which took place in the summer of 2015, some of them “fell under the repressive sanctions and have been deprived of posts”.
“I now understand very well why it happened. Because someone wants to weaken the desire of our colleagues to visit Crimea and see the truth,” added Mariani.
We will remind, on Friday, July 29, in the occupied Crimea arrived the delegation headed by the Deputy of the National Assembly of France Thierry Mariani.
