Racer “Mercedes” Nico Rosberg became the first ever winner of the European Grand Prix on the street circuit in the Azerbaijani capital.
The way to a fifth victory of the season for Rosberg very comfortable – German at the start, confirmed yesterday’s pole position, then created a comfortable separation from his pursuers and more never doubted your final success.
Almost similar scenario was developing the race for Sebastian Vettel, who quickly dealt with Daniel ricciardo and easily held second place. Vettel scored a fifth podium of the season, entrenched on the third line in the standings.

Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton were able to partially compensate for the failure in qualifying – the Briton progressed to the fifth place and then allowed Nico Rosberg to come off at a decent distance.
