Pilot Mercedes Nico Rosberg showed the best result in the qualifying rounds at the home Grand Prix of Germany.
After the first segment in full force from the qualifications to the left “the manor” and “Toro Rosso”. Up to 16-th position is not reached Kvyat (Toro Rosso) and Magnussen (“Reno”).
In the second part of qualifying Rosberg and Hamilton took one fast lap to ensure a place in the top 10. Soon the pilots of “Mercedes” made up “Red bull”, “Ferrari”, “Williams” and “Force India”.
In the fight for pole position, Rosberg tactically beat Hamilton – while the Briton set his fastest lap, the German waited for the traffic and went to clean the track. This plan worked – Rosberg by a tenth of a second ahead of his teammate, who, despite the improved result, still left behind.
Red bull once again beat Ferrari, “Force India” and “Williams” played a place in the end of the top 10.
