The government submitted to the State Duma a draft law that will regulate the procedure for admission in the Russian citizenship of foreign entrepreneurs and investors, reports IA “SeverInform”. The corresponding decree signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced neoficialni the website of the Cabinet.
“The bill proposes to change the criteria of admission to Russian citizenship in a simplified order of foreign citizens and stateless persons — individual entrepreneurs and investors. Instead of the criterion of annual revenue of at least ten million rubles for individuals engaged for at least three years employment in the territory of Russia, suggested to apply the criterion of the amount of taxes paid annually not less than one million rubles within three years based on estimated revenue of ten million rubles,” — said in reference to the order.
As noted in the document, this approach will take into account the amount of taxes paid for all modes of taxation.
In addition, the bill proposes to introduce doulova about the payment of insurance premiums in respect of a foreign national to the FIU. According to forecasts, this requirement will provide an opportunity to eradicate the reception in the Russian citizenship of persons who did not work in Russia legally.
