Ukrainian women’s team tennis has received the opponent in the first round of the Second World group fed Cup.
Before the draw, the international tennis Federation has divided the eight teams – the national team of Ukraine came to the company to Australia, Italy, Romania and Russia. The draw against “blue-yellow” delegated Australians, and the match on February 11-12 will be held on the territory of Ukraine.
Australian women’s tennis is going through hard times, but the presence of Samantha Stosur and Daria Gavrilova, making the team a dangerous opponent. Only two of these athletes represent the country in the top 200 of the WTA rankings. For comparison, Ukraine has seven people among the two hundred best tennis players of our time.
In personal meetings with the Australian national team of Ukraine leads with the score 2:1. The last match between the teams took place in 2011 in the playoffs of the World group Ukraine by Olga Savchuk got a strong-willed away victory.
As for the World group in the 1/4 finals on 11-12 February next year, will play the following teams:
Czech Republic – Spain
USA – Germany
Belarus – Netherlands
Switzerland – France.
