Intentionally did not write about this show for several reasons at once.
First, the Eurovision song contest had long ago ceased to be a music contest. Instead of music, this event promotes the culture of large purses, militant homosexuals and rotten politicians. All this did not start today. And not yesterday. And not even 10 years ago, but much earlier. And for obvious reasons. But it’s not about them.
The second reason I wrote nothing about Eurovision, is that I physically can not stand pop music. Any! Russian, American or European.
Any normal person just have nothing to do at all these events where the pomaded and painted boys who look like girls and girls like boys in the complete absence of vocal funny pose as Janov of Villanow, Bob, Dylan, Mireille Mathieu or Madonnas.
All of this – not music. This is another glamorous stuff. And writing about it is embarrassing.
But there’s a third reason.
The fact is that I, and many other outside observers the name of the winner was known in advance. No one, except for Ukraine, winning this competition could not.
Restaurant singer Jamal was destined to win this event (deliberately not call it a competition) even if she came on stage on crutches and screamed obscenities like a drunken pravosek.
Because in 2014 in Europe ended and the music began, American politics. And when guns speak the muses are silent.
Therefore, a good boy Serezha Lazarev to take first place could not, even if I sang like David Byron composer and it wouldn’t be F. Kirkorov, and the group Uriah Heep in full force.
Don’t like that look, but can’t resist not to use it here : “it is Deeply symbolic!”
It really is highly symbolic that this event took place in Sweden.
After all, the Swedish group ABBA is one of the most brilliant that ever sang and won the Eurovision song contest 42 years ago. Won fair and square!
And I must be a loser not to understand that, had ABBA to look younger for half a century and to go on stage tonight in his native Stockholm, it would have taken only the second place. After Gamalei, plaintively pisava in a mixture of Ukrainian, Russian and Crimean Tatar languages about the great tragedy of her people, punished for a mere trifle – a collaboration with Hitler during the war, the punitive operations in the Crimea and the shooting of civilians.
Not to give Jamal the first place was tantamount to recognition of the crimes of the Crimean Tatars and justice confiscation of the Crimea from the third generation of traitors.
Who in the West will agree to this sane?
So why it was necessary to invest millions in training room Sergey Lazarev? Is all of this was not clear from the outset?
Or the country is really a shortage of intelligent and thoughtful people?
If all this is too complicated to understand, then add:
“Competent” Stockholm jury would be in big trouble, if, instead of Sergey Lazarev on stage would make Mikhail Kasyanov with a song about the crimes of Putin.
In this (and only this!) case Russia would have today a chance to win. And then – barely. Kasyanov – a political corpse. It is the last day of American politics. But Ukraine and Crimea is still relevant.
Not a merry song we have to sing today our glamorous starlets on the international arena, and to learn again the words “Flying birds” and other really talented songs, written by their fathers and grandfathers, who could force Europe and America to play by the rules” and “fair trial”.
And not pouring snot about what happened today! Because the same thing will happen tomorrow, and tomorrow, and until then, until we win. Everywhere!
Time to sum up the results, and they are:
Us – a Crimea without the Crimean Tatars and without ESC. Forever!
Im Eurovision and Crimean Tatars. But without the Crimea. And also forever. And this is important.
As for pop music – the devil with her! Moreover, by and large Sergey Lazarev really don benny Anderson.
So – forget it, dear!
Evrovidenie is not a musical contest. This is geopolitics.
It is not necessary songs!
