Two Ukrainian clubs played the first matches of the third qualifying round of the Europa League.
European debut of “Alexandria” badly tarnished bronze medalist of Croatian championship “Hajduk”. The Croats experienced no problems dealing with an inexperienced team of Vladimir Sharan – double-Alexandria passed after standard positions, and the third goal was the result of errors by Central defenders.
