On the eve of Shakhtar Donetsk in the first match of 1/2 final of the Europa League has met with Sevilla.
The match at Arena Lviv was divided into two parts – in the first half, “Shakhtar” 58% of game time possession of the ball and stabbed nine times in the side of the gate, “Seville”, and after a break on the field was dominated by the Spaniards, who managed 82 minutes naturally to even the score.
Shakhtar and Sevilla for the third time in regulation time in the competition played with the score 2:2. The fate of trips to Basel in the Europa League final will be decided next Thursday, the fifth of may.
Mircea Lucescu (Shakhtar): “had a very good first half. After conceding a goal came to life, scored two goals and continued to create chances. After the first half the score could be 5:1.In the second half I felt that we slowed down a little physically, since Sevilla took the game under control. The score is 2:1, of course, would be preferable, but 2:2 is very slippery bill”.
Unai emery (Sevilla): “Both teams look decent, and have used their moments, so I think that the return match will be difficult for Shakhtar and Sevilla. I said before the game the chances are equal – 50 on 50, and today’s result only confirms the equality of two
teams.”
