The European investment Bank (EIB) urged Ukraine to accelerate implementation of projects financed by the Bank, said the head of the Bank Werner Hoyer.
“The problem with Ukraine is not in the approval of projects and in their implementation. Citizens need not approved and signed projects implemented and running projects. We need to encourage Ukrainian friends to accelerate the implementation of projects”, – RIA “news” words of Hoyer.
“We encourage them, I have pressure and for our shareholders, so that the money is exclusively provided technical and administrative assistance to Ukraine,” he added.
Hoyer noted that the reason for braking in the implementation of projects is “very slow” operation.
Prior to this it was reported that as a whole, the EIB is providing Ukraine with 3 billion euros of investment support attributable to the period 2014-2016.
28 December 2015, the European investment Bank pledged to provide Ukraine with a loan of 400 million euros.
On December 29 last year, the head of the national Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva reported that Ukraine expects in 2016 to receive from the IMF, other organizations and partner countries 8,87 billion dollars of funding.
January 29, Vzglyad reported that Ukraine in 2016 plans to attract from international financial institutions about $ 10 billion.
